This two year business roadmap exists as both a public transparency document and an internal guide. It outlines OBV’s long term vision, the milestones we aim to reach, and the direction we intend to grow as a creative agency. By making this plan visible, we hold ourselves accountable to our goals and invite our community to follow the progress of the brand as it evolves.
While this plan provides a structured foundation for the next two years, it is intentionally flexible. OBV will continue to adapt, refine, and adjust our strategy as opportunities arise and circumstances shift. The purpose of this document is not to lock the company into a rigid path but to establish a clear starting framework that supports sustainable growth. It reflects OBV’s commitment to thoughtful development, creative ambition, and steady expansion as we build the brand for the long term.

Production begins on OBV’s first collaborative zine, which serves both as a creative statement and a community-building tool. OBV strengthens its industry presence through targeted networking, partnerships, and participation in local creative events. The first wave of client projects begins, primarily smaller-scale commissions designed to build OBV’s portfolio, refine its workflow, and establish a reputation for high-quality creative service.
Additionally, this quarter sees the release of the quarterly Collaborative Zine, Edition 01, which solidifies OBV’s commitment to community-driven creative work and acts as an anchor project for ongoing engagement.

Q2 2026 marks OBV’s transition into active production while continuing to strengthen the business foundation set in previous quarters. This period prioritizes building efficient internal workflows, refining the production pipeline, and developing the operational structure required for consistent client delivery.
OBV begins producing small-scale creative projects such as short films, branded content pieces, and compact visual campaigns. These projects act as pilot productions that allow our small team to test collaborative processes, develop a reliable creative workflow, and ensure that OBV’s production output meets professional standards. Each project provides practical experience that prepares the company for larger, more complex commissions in future quarters.
From a business perspective, OBV focuses on expanding its service offerings, refining pricing tiers, and progressing from introductory networking to active outreach. This includes pitching to local businesses, approaching small creative brands, and identifying recurring content opportunities that can evolve into ongoing client relationships. The goal for Q2 is to shift networking momentum into early revenue generation and to secure OBV’s first consistent clients.
This quarter also features the release of the second zine. The second zine strengthens OBV’s community presence and reinforces transparency, process, and authenticity as core brand values.

These smaller projects help refine the team’s collaborative rhythm and ensure that OBV can deliver work that meets a high professional standard.
Industry networking intensifies during this quarter. OBV prioritises building meaningful relationships with agencies, independent artists, small businesses, and potential long term clients across the region. The aim is to position OBV for future mid scale opportunities by increasing visibility, credibility, and trust within the creative community.
The third zine launches in Q3 and functions as both an artistic showcase and a reflection of OBV’s developing production voice. This edition captures the evolution of the brand’s visual identity and highlights the practical growth achieved through ongoing productions.

Q4 2026 marks OBV’s transition into professional commercial work as the company begins taking on larger scale clients throughout New Zealand. This period represents a significant step forward in establishing OBV as a credible creative agency capable of delivering high quality productions at a commercial standard. The focus shifts toward building strong, enduring partnerships with brands, businesses, and organisations that align with OBV’s creative direction.
As production demands grow, OBV works to maintain a balance between ambitious internal projects and client based commissions. This balance supports both creative exploration and sustainable revenue generation. Larger client work also provides opportunities to refine advanced production workflows, strengthen team coordination, and expand OBV’s national visibility.
Edition 04 of the zine captures this growth. It documents the company’s expanding reach, the increasing scale of its productions, and the emergence of a confident national presence. This edition reflects OBV’s evolution from a developing creative studio into a recognised and capable player within the New Zealand creative industry.

During the first half of 2027, OBV enters a significant phase of growth marked by the launch of its first major production project. This initiative is intended to elevate OBV’s visibility, demonstrate high level creative capability, and position the studio for larger commercial and artistic opportunities. The project serves as a milestone that showcases the maturity of OBV’s production workflow, storytelling approach, and visual identity.
At the same time, OBV moves toward securing a physical studio space. Establishing a dedicated location creates a centralised environment for operations, improves efficiency, and provides a professional setting for client work, internal development, and creative experimentation. Whether secured in Q1 or Q2, the studio space is a key step toward long term stability and the expansion of OBV’s service offerings.
Networking efforts extend beyond New Zealand as the team begins pursuing international connections. The goal is to position OBV for its first overseas client, laying the groundwork for cross-border collaboration and broader market exposure. These efforts aim to introduce OBV’s creative capability to international agencies, brands, and artists seeking fresh visual perspectives.

Long term goals include developing feature length projects, large scale branded campaigns, and collaborative artistic ventures that further define OBV’s signature voice. The studio aims to become a recognised creative presence that champions innovation, experimentation, and meaningful storytelling on an international scale.
